Federal Pell Grants

Federal Pell Grants usually are awarded to undergraduate students who display financial need and have not yet earned a bachelor’s, graduate, or professional degree.

State Grants

State Grants help students from low- and moderate-income families pay for educational expenses at eligible Minnesota colleges or universities.

T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood MINNESOTA

T.E.A.C.H. is a scholarship program that helps early childhood and school-age care providers increase their levels of education, compensation, and commitment to the field by earning college credits and degrees.

MN Reconnect

MN Reconnect is a great opportunity for those early childhood educators who are currently in the workforce and have some college credits but never finished. MN Reconnect is awarding up to $1,000 per semester to eligible adult learners when enrolling in a MN Reconnect participating institution. This funding is intended to support you in addition to other federal and state grants, to help you pay tuition, buy books, or assist with childcare or transportation costs.

Workforce Development Scholarships

The Workforce Development Scholarship is available to new students entering an associate degree, diploma, or certificate program in the Early Childhood Education sector of our state at any of the 30 Minnesota State community and technical colleges. The scholarships (worth $2,500 or more) are intended to support the launch of your career. Contact the admissions or financial aid office at Minnesota State colleges to learn more.
